Kenberly Ferguson is a 17 year old senior who is anxious to graduate from high school and transition to college. She is eager for the opportunity to have new experiences, meet new people, and participate in activities that will benefit society. She feels that college is the perfect way to begin this journey.

After God, then herself, she values her education. It is a priority because she knows how much it will contribute to her success. Kenberly maintains a good work ethic which enables her put forth much effort into completing assigned tasks and accepting responsibilities. In the future she would like to work with troubled youth, specifically those at risk of jeopardizing their futures, and those who don’t want their past to define them.

In college, Kenberly will major in Psychology with the intent to support the overall social, emotional and academic advancement of displaced and/or at-risk youth. Her career aspiration is to become a juvenile psychologist. She feels that her goals will motivate her to work hard in college, rise above any distractions, and demonstrate to her parents that she is focused on her success in the future.

Kenberly realizes that this journey may be challenging, but she takes every day, step by step, and allows God, family, friends and her determination, to remain optimistic. This way she will never forget the importance of her goals and aspirations.
