Daniella Addison
2017 PEDC Scholarship Recipient
My name is Daniella Addison. I currently attend Susan Miller Dorsey High School. My first choice of colleges to attend is Marist College where I plan to pursue a degree that will support my career goal in the field of law. My community services include feeding the homeless and participating in community clean ups with Unite A Nation, an empowerment program to help support my school and community. Also I’m involved in Mayor’s Youth Council where I developed leaderships skills and gained networks with very important people. Working closely with Mayor Garcetti, our program established ideas to better South Central Los Angeles. Throughout my years in High School, I’ve always been involved which led me to become a versatile student. I’ve been in numerous enrichment educational programs where I was supported academically and helped me to become a college ready student. I am a very serious, disciplined student and I’m a great believer in a bright future for both me and my family.
